Gravers from Sawzall Blades

Looking at all the discarded Sawzall blades in my case last night. I got to wondering if thet could be made into gravers or anyother useful tools.

Knowing how I have abused some they must be made of pretty good stuff?

They are thin for gravers. They make good chisels and small knives if you use the ones with plain steel blades, not the "bi-metal" blades or hi-speed steel.

i used bandsaw blades fer scrapers also made hacksaw blades out of them fer cutting wood in a hurry when not worried bout the cut..........bob
