Went out lastevening. the blizzard ended and it got cold. I sat in the blind with my son in hopes of getting him another deer. Saw an 8 pointer but it didnt offer a good shot. He then saw a doe and got a little over excited and missed. It was funny, he shot and the deer just stood staring at him while he reloaded. It then troted off before he finished reloading. I asked him what happened and he said "nerves." as we were leaving we saw another doe coming down the trail but it was too dark to shoot. I work today(I'm trying to think of what to come down with) but we are hitting it hard Thursday till the end of the season. Its supposed to be very cold so that should move the deer very well. We both are addicted to bp and I have 2 more sons to go. We have an oak grove on our land and the deer are trying to dig out the acorns from the snow. Life is good.
