If you haven't ever used these...you MUST! They work phenomenal! I had a Colt Python that I bought after it went through a fire, so the blued finish was 'fleckeled' on the sideplate. This B45 metal pad removed all traces of rust wthout harming the original blue finish. It is incedible for use in bores and on old guns and muzzleloaders.

*Need to buy 2 pads fo the free shiping I believe ...

They are still on sale. $6 each and free shipping on 2. I bought two. I have a couple of older CVA .45 caliber percussion rifle kits than I want to finish. One the stock and hardware is done, but the barrel has quite a bit of rust from sitting for a few years. The other rifle is still in kit form and that barrel has surface rust also. I really want to try these pads on both barrels to see how much rust they will remove before I get to the chore of draw filing the barrels to clean them up smooth. Thanks for the post Flint62Smoothie for the link to the cleaning pads.

You can't find the copper choreboy scrubbers. All the MethAmericans have discovered them as filters for their meth pipes. They were taken off the market around here as they were now drug paraphenaila.

Wow !

I got four of them at the "dent and ding" discount store last year for a buck a piece.

I will get some. I have an unmentionable .22 browning lever 1/4 cock with just a smidge of rust (after LOANING IT OUT for the last time). Thanks for the info Flint!

Just rdered 2 and added a pack of the .22 patches as well. May work in a .36?

Thanks again!
