Greene Carbine lock

This is a Maynard tape primer lock that is in unused condition.
The British purchased 2,000 Greene breach loading external ignition carbines from the Massachusetts Arms Co but they were never issued and were eventually broken up and sold as parts.
Somehow this lock ended up at a Gun show in Australia and I bought it out of curiosity.
