There was a post about twist a short time ago and I mentioned "Greenill formula". That formula pertains to the length of a bullet. The formula is:
(Bore) squared times 150 divided by twist.
The Lowes formula is simular:
(Bore times 3) squared divided by twist times .07
A formula for calculating twist is:
Pi times bore diameter divided by.02618
That is a roundball twist used by Ed Rayl, I believe.
Another twist is thus:
Pi (3.14) times bore diameter divided by .029.
Lester Cox used this formula.
