There was a post about twist a short time ago and I mentioned "Greenill formula". That formula pertains to the length of a bullet. The formula is:

(Bore) squared times 150 divided by twist.

The Lowes formula is simular:

(Bore times 3) squared divided by twist times .07

A formula for calculating twist is:

Pi times bore diameter divided by.02618

That is a roundball twist used by Ed Rayl, I believe.

Another twist is thus:

Pi (3.14) times bore diameter divided by .029.

Lester Cox used this formula.
