Hello everyone,

Looks like a really informative page, and I hope to learn a lot from you guys.

I have a .50 and .451 open on my License for looking forwards to picking up a flintlock in .50 and a percussion target rifle in .451.

Welcome! Cake Or Death, that's a great name, and a great motto!
You will find this place is very helpful. It is the most friendly gun forum I have even visited.

Welcome, cakeordeath, to the very best muzzleloading forum on the planet.

I, too, live in the county of Cambridge, on the western border with Northants, where my gun club is located - Oundle Rifle and Pistol Club. You really must come on over some time. Keep in touch.

Welcome to the Forum! :hatsoff:

You have come to the right place (but not for cake! The closest we come to cake is grits. :haha: )

Good choices of calibers.

I went to Cambridge. King's College. To see the choir...

By the way, "grits" is an American animal feed given to children in one region of the U.S. and meant to be made fun of by folks who weren't home-schooled. Kinda like a broad midlands accent it's not enjoyable though one may get conditioned to it, however, every time you're exposed you lose a few more brain cells than you can ever replace.

Welcome!

Cake, welcome aboard! Please be aware of the internal rivalry surrounding the voluntary consumption of -GRITS- which is merely a coarse ground hot corn cereal enjoyed by millions in the United States, and despised by some who find it beneath their perceived rarified social strata. This is, despite some lingering food predudices, the best forum for gaining and sharing friendship and information concerning our common hobby of traditional muzzleloaders. Here's to your health and membership in our forum. Cheerio, George.
