Howdy from the Midwest. I'm new to ML and current have two new 50 cal guns. A Lyman Plains pistol is ordered and a new Traditions Pursuit rifle I have only fired 20 rounds through. Want to buy a non-modern gun but was overwhelmed by my lack of knowledge so I thought I better delay that purchase. I have lots to learn and look forward to posting the other forums.

My profession is fulltime National Guardsman, 28 years in the cannon artilleryman, and cannon and truck repair field. Dewayne

Welcome aboard! Lots of info, resident experts, colorful personalities, and all things black powder. What more could you want?

Steve

Welcome. Here's a good place to pick up some knowledge and leave some. Pull up a stump and sit a spell and remember to keep your head down. Vern

fenders,
Welcome to a very interesting and informative forum!
You will like that LYMAN Plains Pistol in .50 cal!
I have two of them in percussion.

Welcome DeWayne! and thanks for all your service to our country. Stick around and you will soon be very knowledgeable about the ins and outs of our sport/hobby. Emery

Welcome aboard. We don't discuss them newfangled rifles around here, but will be more than happy to talk about the traditional ones and answer any questions you might have.
Traditional muzzleloaders are not nearly as complicated as most people think. Quit reading them fancy magazine ads and get to burning some blackpowder. You'll be hooked before you know it.

Glad ta have ya!....Thanks for your service to our country. That Minuteman symbol of the guard is holding a musket, not a so-called modern muzzleloader....That's tradition! Jump in and have fun!
