Greetings! I was looking online to see if any of my dad's books were out there. I still have mine. My dad was Pryor Mtn. Bill Newton. I helped him when I was in HS with Hand Forging the Muzzleloading gun lock. I hope there are lots of people out there who are carrying on the ML traditions and craft.

I'm about 110 miles North East of Richey. My head bumps the Sask border and if I stretch my left arm out real wide it touches the ND border. I live on the edge of Daniels County by the town of Scobey. Not sure if you ever knew anybody up this high in the corner?

Yes, a couple who were teaching in Richey I believe were from Scobey... can't remember names! I knew people from other towns in the area. I think my school kids played sports up there. I know they played Culbertson for sure. Bainville was a neat place. I was going to stay in the Richey area, But, no. My second year, the MT legislature destroyed small schools' funding and so I only had 1/2 job left in Richey. Came home to WY.

I'm new to the forum, and I welcome you like I was welcomed. I'm glad to be here and will look into Bill Newton. I do my best to keep muzzleloading tradition alive, sons, grandsons, granddaughter etc. A wold almost forgotten. Or is it.

Thank you! I have been out of this for quite a few years. So good to see that people have kept these traditions going.
