I Bought a TC White Mountain Carbine when Michigan created the "Primitive Weapon" deer season. It didn't like round ball so I used it with a few different versions of the Maxi-ball ?
When TC introduced the "Big Boar" 58 cal. I Really wanted one but couldn't find the $ at the time. Last winter I found one in good condition at a decent price and it reignited my interest. I used it to take one of my biggest bucks and a late season doe this fall. I was very impressed with the performance of the patched round ball. I also had a problem with my rifle that had never occurred before. That got me looking for answers and eventually brought me here. Looking at pics of some of the spectacular long rifles on here has me thinking about NOT waiting another 20 + years to buy my next BP rifle.
Hope to learn a lot more from all of you and see what you are hunting & shooting with.
