Hello.
I have been involved with a muzzleloading club since last year.
That same year, I started working as a guide at a local historic mansion, volunteering at another history museum, and was swept into the magical world of history research and of course, dressing in period attire.
I became enthralled with the historical aspect of the black powder events I attended- suddenly, muzzleloading was about much more than sticking a tomahawk in a stump or striking a target. It was a way to remember some of the most rugged and fascinating days in the history of the United States.
It's fantastic and I hope that being on this forum will be as well.
