this is a gregsteel of oz skinner that i cut down all done with files,they went bust in the early sixty's but keith spencer of australian knife collectors co has bought the rites to the name and has them made in Sheffield now,the scales are ozy cypress pine hard wood.

Bernie, :thumbsup: that is a great face lift you did, I like the wood you used for the scales! But I gotta say the original is a good looking knife also. With a little aging that skinner would look like it took a few buff apart.
 
You did good, Windwalker. Those Nessmuk knives are great utility knives.

IMHO, I wouldn't age it, other than using it in the kitchen. Cutting potatoes, onions, and tomatoes will add a nice, dark patina, in no time.
