Guitar pick for accesories

Looks pink but it's red. Red plastic guitar pic split and fitted on each side of front sight.
It does not glow but sure brings your eye to that front sight. Red on each side and nickle silver blade in the middle.

Look at the dust on that barrel. I build my guns in the same room where they hang on the rack.DUSTY

Looks like a good idea, how did you attach them?

One was archery glue the other gun I used jb weld. Jb is better but tge archery glue was a quick test.

Another good thing is if you want the front sight thinner it's easy to file the picks down on each side.

Just the pick itself would make the front sight a little wider wouldn't it? If need be or if it ever comes to that, it should make "painting" the front sight easier.A strip of white between the orange ought to "stand out".

That's what I was thinking to. The picks will make the white center pop. Faster sigh acquisition. It made my sight just wide enough. Best looking front sight I've had.

It probably already stands out pretty good being nickel. I was thinking of my thin brass sights.

Another version of the ivory insert, just on the outside rather than the inside of the front sight.

Yep I wasn't even thinking of the two color sight. I was just focused on making the front sight wider so I didn't have to change it.

Eutycus,, I could nit see that thin nickle silver blade at all ,,old eyes,, but after tge red plastic pick on each side it pops out at me. Much easier to see. I bet it does the same for brass.

I'm very familiar with Old Eyes, that's why I mentioned my front blade being "thin" brass.

Yep I'm 66 and that thin silver blade just blended in with everything. I can see it now

Readers only at distance say 5 to 75 or 100 I'm ok. But can't see pring even large print at arms length good enough to read.
