Mine is transported nekkid although I do have an almuminum case that would be able to hold it. Problem is, the big case is incredibly akward to handle and fit into a vehicle.

Rifleman1776, be careful. Naked means running around with no clothes on, nekkid means you are up to something.

I use a canvas case my wife and I make. The shoulder strap makes it easy to sling and use two hands for other stuff.

Sounds nice! Any pics? The last moose I ran across wasn't ready to give up his hide yet.
Did you put a shoulder strap on yours? I find it's really handy when I'm carrying several guns to a demonstration or have other things to carry.

i used a piano hinge, because i had one. the next one i will attempt something more antique style. i made it to lock because here the law says it has to be locked in a case.
