Hammer pole hawk

Made the one from a piece of hex bar,Hickory handle finished with true-oil and then gun stock waxed it. The blade i cold blue it,the other i over drifted the hole. so i going to have to make a axe handle for it .

Did you hot punch it or drill and drift?

Loyd I am not for shure what kinda steel it is .It hared in oil. I took a 12 in. file and then drilled holes in the stee connected the holes with a round file then filed them smooth.Thanks for the words
