Hi shooters,
I recently aquired a new model army .44 made by Euroarms- Berscia. The gun feels good and seems to shoot well ,It feels as good as my Pietta's.
Do es anyone know about euroarms berscia BP guns? Along with the Remmie I also got a .44 cal. Kentucky perrc. ,both in very good condition, and I have shot both ,so I know they work.
I have ARMY Sam Marco in 51 navy ,brass frame and 3 Pietta's and a 58 remmie on the way. glad i ordered when it was on sale.
Any thing you can tell me will be helpful. I love to shoot but I am a trapshooter for the most part ,but Im getting into BP.
Thanks for reading Fox.44

Euroarms was an early importer. I find their pistols to be close to the originals. Besides my Lyman, My euroarms 1858 Remy, is my all time favorite, and best shooter...

Love mine. The grip and frame are smaller than
Pietta or Uberti. More like the smaller Beals.

I can not speak for this particular gun, but I do have a comment about Berscia. That city in Italy has a board (aside from QC at the individual factory) which tests every shotgun which is made in that city. They test fire each one prior to it being approved for export. Their purpose is to ensure that no gun leaving that city reflects poorly upon their home !! I heard, and saw, the officials doing this. Now keep in mind that this is shotguns we are talking about. Whether they do it with rifles and handguns, I don't know.....but I bet they do.

Every firearm made in Italy will have proof marks! Just look at your C&B revolvers; they will have the Back Powder proof stamp. I waited for a year for the first run of Pedersoli 1874 Sharps in 40-65, due I was told to back up at the Proof House.
