I couldn't resist the subject name, being from Arizonie an all.
With Phoenix placing #2 in the nation for car theft, it makes me long for the old days when we hung horse thieves.
I suspect that if a few car thiefs were found just "hanging around" from a few lamp poles around the valley, we would see a dramatic reduction in that trades popularity.

Anyway, for those of you who have a understanding wife/husband, and like the thought of hanging your Cap & Ball Pistols on a wall where you can see them, rather than buried in your safe or drawer, there are nice wrought hooks you can buy.
If your cheap like me though, you look for other things you could use which will look nice and do the job.

Places like Ace Hardware, Home Depot etc sell brass plated Clothing Hooks which were intended to go in a closet or on the back of your bathroom door.
It just so happens, they are exactly the right size for hanging a C&B pistol. They won't break the bank either. The local Ace's price for them today was $2.99/pair, screws included.

These pictures give you a view of what they could look like.
By the way, these hooks are strong enough that I have had a replica Colt Walker and a Colt 3rd model Dragoon hanging from them for 4 years and they havent broken or come loose yet. :)

Zonie, a mouth-watering display! I'll be over in 15 minutes to check them out in person, unless somebody's stolen my car! :shocking: Nope! I just looked out the window and it's still there! Whew!  :crackup:Nice stuff!

P.S If you see a guy cruisin' around the Valley in a really loud '64 VW Bug with a ratty lookin' rust and primer finish and dented bumpers, that's ME (seriously)!
