Those are some huge parts. :shocked2: Where did you get them? What in th H3!! are you going to build? Godzilla better watch out.

Those blocks look like shims to drill the ramrod hole. You're a brave man to wait after you've shaped the whole stock before drilling the ramrod hole. It's a lot easier to hold the stock while it's still square.
 
YUP!...those are the bearing blocks for the RR drill~ I kept them this time!...I use soap to lub as a I drill :grin:
As for the engine...oh yeah...way pre-R/C....a O&R 29 sparker. I have done planes since i was about 8. this desk has seen many a gillow's kit made! Lots of memorys made here...and now doing flinters...not on it~just around it!
And, yup....it's a lancaster 1770's type build....the 'thin police' will take me away some day~ but today isn't it!!!!!!! :haha: :haha: :blah: :blah:
