Pre-1840 Come join us in Granville Ohio (Central Ohio) a great location at the Infirmary Mound Park, back fields have plenty of room for lots of period camps. All are welcome we will start Thursday but come when you can Wed to Fri. to set up. We do get kids shooters so bring those young sharp shooters. We get some of the best shooters from OH PA Mi KY WV IN, NY. Woods walk and bow, Hawke and knife, pistol match, are open to shoot, practice or scoring starting Thursday afternoon. Practice all you want as long as you don't hold up anyone scoring. Scoring sheets must be turned in by Saturday supper time anyone shooting to score this is a blanket shoot bring an item $20+. The parks department usually has a harvest fest in the upper fields, our camps are open to the public during the day so we always get a lot of visitors on Saturday. So bring your furs, skulls, antlers, period crafts, and wears, help show the young ones and the city folks how it was, must be in period dress to participate in camp. Bring your fiddle and banjos ect. its been awhile since we had music ringing over the hills at night. Saturday is a potluck bring your best dish there is always lots of eats. We will provide Chicken as a meat, we will follow this with an auction, if you have something to donation is always appreciated.
We keep growing every year and hope this year is biggest yet. Campers and modern tents welcome out front only no hook ups, restrooms only, no generators please it is dead quiet and we want to only hear the owls and coyotes strictly enforced.
