I have a Hatfield Flintlock in 32. cal that was custom ordered back in the late 70's by my brother. I got it last year from him and it had never been shot. Well I'm not one to look at such a fine specimen...I have shot it...less than 10 times...but yes it has been fired. I am asking $1500.00 for it. upload_2019-9-23_22-13-12.png

Those Hatfield rifles are pretty nice Generally a very nice piece of wood and a pretty stain.Sometimes the locks needed a bit of work for reliable sparks but otherwise pretty nice rifles. I knew Ted Hatfield [well Tim & Harold as well] fairly well and purchased a rifle custom made from Ted. [ I used to go hang out in his shop there in St.Joe behind the main Hatfields store whenever I went to St. Joe.] It was a .45 cal. with a 13/16" barrel and was sweet and light.Later I traded my buddy out of his .45 with a 7/8" barrel but always preferred the 13/16 one for it's lighter weight.

Hatfield is the first smokepole that I ever saw and held. She was GORGEOUS! I knew right then that I would make smoke for the rest of my life. The buddy who owned her could shoot targets at three hundred yards all day long.
