A new haversack style/forage bag I handmade, “inspired” by the late 18th and early 19th century hunting accoutrements. The distressed and aged body of the bag is made from a heavy weave cotton dyed with walnut hills and fully lined with an interior pocket. All hand-stitching done with natural linen and hemp beeswaxed thread. The flap is brain tanned deer leather featuring Franklin’s “Join or Die” French and Indian War slogan.
The bag measures 10 1/2 x 12. The veg tanned leather strap is adjustable with hand forged iron D buckle and ring. This would make a wonderful addition for anyone into Muzzleloading…hunting…reenacting...or as a beautiful wall hanging decor.
