“A new haversack style forage bag I handmade, “inspired” by the late 18th and early 19th century hunting accoutrement. The body of the bag is period correct striped heavy weight cotton distressed in a walnut hull dye, and fully lined with an interior pocket. All hand-stitching done with natural linen and hemp beeswaxed thread. The flap is bark tanned leather, incised with an early American folk art motif of of a heaved and Hudson’s Bay motifs. The strap in a heavy woven jute webbing. The bag measures 8 x 10.5 with a 54” strap and leather tabs.
