well, that has been an interesting 2 years.

I first joined this site back in 2013 after i purchased my first muzzleloader, a pedersoli kentucky percussion, and started looking into the muzzleloading traditions. One of the things that i stated was that i saw myself more as a mountain man than a colonial reenactor, and that i was going to get into trapping so that i can catch my own fur and begin fashioning my own fur clothes.

well, two years later, i now have my own trapping license, and am actively trapping on a friends property. hopefully i get something!

but i have put the muzzleloading aspect to the side. school, work, politics have gotten in the way of me playing with both of my muzzleloaders. Yes, i bought a second one, a flint lock.

i have started to purchase round ball ammo and caps for my percussion, but now i am wanting to purchase my own mold set and begin making my own round ball and minie/maxi bullets.

For those who dont know me, i live in wisconsin, and where i live, i am a city alderman. So my day job is in the world of IT being a PC technician, my night job is passing ordinances and making sure that the city runs as efficiently as possible so that i dont pay too much money in taxes at the end of the year.

well, thanks for reading.
