Hello, long time listener first time caller haha. Been shooting the holy black since I was 17, now I’m 25, hoping to do it for years to come. I’m from Nevada County in the Sierra Nevadas of Northern California. Started off with a cap and ball 1860, and have added several other rifles and pistols to the stable since then, including my two favorites which are a 1984 .54 Lyman Great Plains rifle and a .54 Great Plains Pistol. I’m a big gear collector, love little bits and bobs, especially the older stuff from previous decades of muzzle loader popularity. Especially old lubes, greases, and cleaners.. I’ve included some pictures of the well known Young Country Lube 103, and some vintage Pyrodex and Percussion caps as examples of the kinds of things I like to collect. My first rifle was the Investarms “Hawken” and after that came the CVA mountain rifle, the GPR, GPP, and the Traditions buckskinner carbine. There’s so much more that I could say but the important part is I’ve enjoyed this forum for years and I’m so glad to finally have become a member, kudos to you all and KYPD!

Contact me through the forum if you have questions regarding your dive into the best shooting sport there is. Good luck neighbor.
