Name is john, I am a black powder fan from the early 60's. I am currently putting together a flint pistol using a t.o.w. octagon .36 cal barrel.
My first gun I built in 63/64 started out as a matchlock. After it fired from a wind gust I converted to cap. It uses a .667 smooth bore barrel I bought used from dixie. I am going to enjoy this forum as I have been lurking for some time now. john
