I’ve hunted with inline muzzleloaders for years and have decided to go traditional and shoot round ball and really considering flint lock vs percussion.

Welcome to the Forum!
Good luck with that decision (flint vs cap), I have both and enjoy shooting them equally.
Check about on the old posts and you will find non-stop arguments for one vs the other.
Enjoy the journey! And welcome aboard!
One word of advice, if you decide on flint try to buy the best lock you can afford!
That will save you a lot of frustration on the learning curve.
