Hello all, looking forward to getting involved. Just got an Uberti 1861 Navy, loving black powder shooting!
I have been lusting a 1861 Navy for a while, let us know how the Navy shoots and fit and finish when you have time. Congrats, enjoy but leave one chamber empty for safety.

It's a fantastic shooter. I've put about 60 round balls through it with 20 grains of 3F Triple 7, and it's performed flawlessly. I'm beginning to start making paper cartridges with 3F Goex, bullets from Eras Gone's Colt .36 mold, and Cap and Ball's former.
