McComb, Ms,
I have been muzzle loading since the late 70,s off and on. I started out with a TC 50 cal Hawkin. Killed quite a few deer with it. One day in 1980 I saw a Browning Mountain Rifle at a local gun shop in 50cal. It was 400$ a lot for a muzzle loader then but I had to have it. I have used it a lot over the years but it is still is in very good shape. Thanks for the forum. I am learning a lot of stuff from it.

Howdy from Alabama!

If you are interested in black powder shooting with firearms of the period of the American Civil War, you are in the Deep South Region of the North-South Skirmish Association.

We'd love to have you come shoot with us! All teams are looking for new shooters!

The first skirmish of the 2023 season is February 24-26th, 2023, at historic Brierfield Ironworks State Park!
