Don't remember where I found this site exactly, but glad I did. I've been into flintlocks for a while and shoot two, what some people call semi custon guns. I have a TVM .54 cal Jaeger and a 20 ga Jackie Brown Canoe gun. Enjoy them both. Right now I'm in the middle of the PA late season and the luck has escaped me so far. The recent snow that we are having is encouraging. There seems to be a lot of activity on this site. Hope to learn more and maybe to share. I'm no youngin' at 65 years, but still feel like a kid when I carry my flinter.

Rupe,
welcome to the forum glad to have you with us. lots of folks from Pa. around here. good luck in your hunts. hope you will join in whenever you can.
again welcome and stay active
I am snake-eyes :peace: :)

Welcome Rupe.

I know how you feel about carrying your flintlock. I won't see 60 again, but I look forward to this after Christmas season we have here in PA like a kid. I've been out several times so far and haven't seen a deer yet, and I'd love to have some of that snow down here in the southeastern part of the state. Look forward to having you thoughts and questions on the forum.

Glad you found us. I have a T/C Hawken 54cal. percussion rifle. I really like shooting my 54cal rifle. I was able to get a T/C Hawken 50cal. flintlock rifle on GunBroker.com, I haven't got to fire it yet, I hope to soon.
Don't worry about age here, were all young at heart.
Anyway, Glad your here and take care !! Mtn-Man2u :)

Welcome Rupe! Sounds like you are well established with those two fine guns that you mentioned. I am from Susquehanna co, just a mile from the Bradford county line. This snow is a Godsend...yesterday I bagged a Doe with my GPR flinter. Glad you are here and good luck with the flinlock season.
