Hey everybody. I'm completely new to the muzzleloading world. I've been shooting modern firearms for about a year now, but I was just at West Point's annual historical weapons shoot and got to train up on some Civil War-era Enfield rifles. Now I'm hooked and can't wait to pick up a muzzleloader as my next firearm. I joined this forum to learn more about the different types of weapons (caliber, make, etc) and hopefully figure out which one I want to shop for in the near future. Looking forward to hearing and learning from what you guys have to say.

Welcome from the other end of the state. I'm told some of my family owned what became West Point, but they were Dutch and the Yankee's got it all.
