Hello all,

My name is Andre and i am from Johannesburg, South Afica.I am buying my first BP gun tomorrow, a 10ga Perdisoli SxS perc shotgun.

I have been lurking here for a day or so now just trying to gather info, seems like a great forum.

As far as black powder shooting i am a total newbie, so hopefully i will be able to learn a lot from you guys, and hopefully one day be able to give something back.

I picked up my new toy today.

I got a Pedersoli 12Ga SxS with multi chokes, instead of the 10Ga. I bought a ton of goodies to go with it too.

I have spent the whole afternoon fonding and cleaning my baby. I have a bit of a obsessive compulsive attitude, so i can see this is going to cost me a fortune. I will try shoot off some pics in the next few days for your drooling pleasure. Thanks everyone.

I got the documentation in on Tuesday, the lady said it should be ready in about a week??

I do have a current firearm license which i believe speeds things up a bit.

Well we will see.

I got a call this morning. My license is ready.

Very efficient by South African standards. 3 working days.

Well its off to buy some powder and some caps and then the feathers are going to fly this weekend.
