Hello all, my name is Cody (hi Cody), and I'm just getting into muzzleloading/bp shooting, and I figured this forum would be a great way to get knowledge and info to help me start.

I'm from Escondido in San Diego's North County, and I grew up on a 25 acre "ranch" in the low mountains on the east side of San Diego. Being in the country, I was able to grow up with guns around all the time, and I have been plinking since age 12, but I've just turned 21, and so am now able to really get into it for myself. I've always been fascinated by the Civil War and the Wild West, and am currently a history major with an emphasis in the American West and the Civil War. This has naturally led me to bp/muzzleloading shooting.

Hope that's enough intro, and I look forward to a fun time here.
