Happy thanksgiving to all the USAens out there! I'm fairly new to the sport. I inherited my dad's Euroarms Hawkins rifle and for some weird reason I enjoy the calmness of the sport more than regular shooting. I guess I know I'm saving money by taking my time! I have about 200 lbs of lead to use for casting my own bullets. I have the Lee die and would like to get to it some day.

Enjoy your venison and wild (or maybe walmart) turkeys!

Welcome. We have our Thankgiving a little late as you know. Big place is Toronto -- never seems to end. And heaven forbid I ever get on the 401 East again during rush hour. And I wanted West anyway!!!

Oh, and it isn't weird. It's Zen. Weird is how "weird" is spelled -- s/be "wierd." In American. French Canadians are weird. Oh, and your crackhead Mayor of course. Purolator isn't.

Anyway, welcome again!

PS: does WalMart sell turkeys!?

Since I got to put out a "Happy Thanksgiving" on your date, appreciate the same on ours. Any problem you have should be easily or eventually answered here...only about a millennium of experience with this group, and some mornings when I roll out I feel like a big part of it is mine! :haha: :thumbsup:

Hey Toronto Alex;
Can we ask you to do us a favor? Can you come take Detroit, please!? You've got easy access and basically-unemployed Rob Ford would be a welcomed improvement as mayor (except during the five calls to prayer each day of course)...

I have that same calming feeling when out shooting my flintlock. And that's a great supply of lead. Happy casting!
