Greetings from Upstate NY!

I'm the proud parent of 3 Springfields, an 1842 .69 cal Smoothbore (Armi Sport repro), 1861 .58 rifled musket (also an Armi Sport Repro) and 30-06 M1 garand. I've recently gotten the bug to build my own Flintlock rifle and am in the research process as to what I want to build.

Looking forward to reading through all of the forums and picking a few brains for ideas!

Hi Chris! Welcome to the world of black powder shooting. I wonder how that Garand would shoot with black powder??!! Not too good I would suspect, and no, I'm not gonna try it in mine!
