Hello! I have retrieved the musket. Those who suggested it to be a "Danish-Norwegian" appear to be correct, I believe this was one of the flintlocks converted in the 1840s. Attached are tons of pictures - feel free to request more.
The rifle has matching markings on the stock (which is very faint), lock plate (I think that's what it's called?), and the barrel. It also has a few different symbols scattered about, including a crown. It is missing a few pins in the stock and looks to have been repaired at some point over the course of it's life. It also has screws in the stock which I do not believe to be original to the rifle. Feel free to browse the images and offer further input into the following; what exactly the rifle is, it's value, and relative condition. As I've recently become old enough to participate in Civil War reenactments, I have begun accumulating supplies for a federal kit - would it be possible I could trade or sell this in exchange for a reproduction Springfield rifle?
