wilded

Forty caliber Custom flintlock, German silver trim, browned lock, triggers and barrel. I bought it from a Fort Hood soldier in Texas that was shipping out to Afghanistan about ten years ago that said it was left to him by his dad and was from a custom maker in Tennessee or Kentucky. He said it had hung on the wall in his family home all his life and that was all he knew. It a very well made rifle but I have never fired it and had it in the safe since I bought it. I have not found any visible marks on the outside to identify the maker. Where would I look for the makers mark or does anyone recognize the rifle. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Ed
