I'm taking a wild guess here but you could possibly lay it out and take an Steam iron and a towel and get the fold marks out.

Wet it and stretch it leave it hang for 24 to 48 hours or at least until completely dry - if it's chrome tan like buckskin, elk, or buck tanned cowhide you'll want to stretch it anyway....
I would not recommend using heat even an iron on low. - too easy to mess it up...ask me how I know.... :nono: :cursing: :nono:

Boy, that's a tuff one. Most leather is "rolled" to avoid folds,
Yes wetting, (SprayBottle) will help with the shape but if it's been down for a longtime you'll still see some marks/wrinkles.
Thing is, maybe you'll be the only one to see it, maybe you can encorperate some of the folds into the shape of the bag, ya know?
Kinda use the stuff like it is,,or is it folded way small?
