Someone posted not long ago instructions from a mag on how to take a pelt from a small animal, lets say fox or raccoon and make a bag with it. It showed the folds and where to cut if I'm not mistaken. I just searched through pages of posts here and wasn't able to find the thread. Anyone save the info or have info similar?

I remember some one got a boxs full of old muzzleloader magazine and they were posting differant article from them, the post may of said, old gold, or something along that line.

Okay but it could of been Semisane who made the post, since he had the box of books.

Hi there Swamp Man! This isn't from this forum, but here are some instructions on making a bag from an animal pelt. You might as well make two as I could use one too! :rotf: http://www.primitiveways.com/pelt_bag.html
It seems to me that instead of discarding the leg/belly parts of the pelt, maybe they could be used for gussets?

Thanks Emery! It is a different page than what I remember but basically the same procedure and in color too! Thanks a bunch!
