help with squirrels

My wife is driving me crazy wanting me to go out and kill
a bunch of squirrels for her. While I'm waiting on my 32cal. to have finishing touches added I need some help.
I've never skinned nor cleaned a squirrel! I've shot a few
which my older brother took home to his family but I never
bothered to learn how to skin and clean them. My brother has pass 3 years ago so no one to teach me now. Help is
requested. Also best cooking methods and squirrel dishes
would also help. How good is squirrel meat? Any help in this area is appreciated. :what:

i dress it out like a deer and used to hang mine like a deer and skin it till i found out how to pull the skin off..................bob

I did a squirrel like that the other day before I even thought about what I was doing. Took a long time.

The way I normally do it is like taking pants and a sweater off a cat. Make a cut around the middle. Pull the sweater up over its head and pull down the pants. Cut off feet and head before doing this or after. Then gut like a deer.

I had squirrel soup tonight. It was my first BP squirrel. Took it with a 12g flintlock fowler.
