Absolutely. It is my 'go to' stitching material. A guy with long hair, earring and slurred speech advised me that hemp is good stuff. He has to know. :shocked2:
:wink: Actually, I have found it to be very good for our kind of needs.
 
Do you have a good source for hemp thread? I would think it MIGHT be a little stronger than flax, which is pretty strong as it is.

Yes, very strong. And, it can be unraveled to make smaller threads from a twine size. That is what I do. I keep a hunk of beeswax handy to draw over for easier stitiching.
