Anyone know a source for reasonable priced heavy duty hemp and or cotton webbing? Most of the stuff I have seen in fabric stores is pretty thin!

Thanks in advance, Rick :hatsoff:

check with folks in your area that recover/repair sofas, chairs n other furniture. Much of the fabric they use is made heavy duty n might fit the bill for ya. If they can't sell/give ya some(left over ends etc) they might be able to point ya in a direction to aquire some

:hmm: Ya might try www.hemptraders.com. They have hemp webbing from 3/4" to 2". It's been awhile since I've delt with them, but they've always been good to deal with. Thier prices are pretty good "iffin" ya buy in volume.. :v

I bought some hemp webbing from Turkeyfoot trading for a haversack. I like the looks and it just seems a bit heavier than the cotton stuff. about the same thickness but it seems heavier.

Got to agree with goldhunter...Turkeyfoot trade company are good people and Colleen has good quality hemp.
