Hi all,

I'm a newbie to BP and I haven't owned a gun since I was a kid. Now at 55 I want to get into some BP revolvers. I know nothing about BP other than I used to make it as a kid from my chemistry set.

I'm adept at researching on the internet and expect I'll gain the knowledge I need from here and other web sources.

Thanks
Bill

Welcome Bill and all you have to do is ask and somebody will help you out.

Hi Bill, Welcome.

Three things you need to know...

1. No smoking.

2. Chain fires, what are they?

3. The Muzzleloading Forum is the #1 place for info. Probably about a million years of combined experience here. :haha:

Don't think for even a minute you will be able to stop at just revolvers! There is a Flintlock in your future.
