Hi To everyone,
I have been reading the posts after finding this forum for a number of weeks now and have decided to join the forum.
I head up the restoration of Fort Amherst in Chatham Kent England. Along with covering the general maintenance of the site as a whole I also restore the cannons and mortars we have on site which currently number about 130no pieces and in various sizes from 68pdr,32,24,18,9,6 and finally 3pdrs. Also dating from Elizabethan to 1900's, we have about 14no which are proofed and fired on a regular basis.
Well hoping I can contribute and learn something from my friends the other side of the pond.
