Another new member here from South Carolina. I'm new to the black powder world but have just finished my Woodsrunner in 50 cal and have a uberti Walker and an 1860. so far I have only shot them with the 45 colt conversion cylinders.. I had to wait till I could find powder and caps, but have that remedied now, and am also ready to sight in my woodsrunner. I have been reading here for a while via google searches and figured it was about time I became a member.. here are some pics I took of my woodsrunner this past weekend out in the grass. All the trees were in the shade so it didn't show off the curl.. so I just went with the grass :)

S. Carolina is just over the Savannah River bridge from Augusta, GA. (Edgefield). Would go there now and again when at Ft. Gordon in the 60's. Very rural countryside back then. Lovely.

Welcome from Valdosta Georgia. I grew up in Charleston. I went to James Island High School and to the Citadel before going into the Air Force. I also put together a .50 cal Woodsrunner to add to my collection. They are addictive. l've about to exceed the capacity of my gun cabinet. Bill
