Just joined and i looks like I'll be venturing here more and more. Great site.

I've been shooting a front loader for awhile now. Been attending rendezvous since 98, when I can find them. I do alot of primitive skills, build my own bows and arrows, and make most of my gear.

My hunting gear is the basics and when I can get a chance to just walk in the mountains for a few days, I jump on it. Two little kiddy's puts a damper on the time so I make due.

Talk to ya soon,

Frank

Hi FVR, welcome to the best muzzleloading site on the net! I envy your location; my grandparents had an old farmstead out of Blue Ridge/Morganton and we went up every summer as kids. Plenty of beautiful places to hike, fish, intertube, kayak, swim, and hunt!

Thanks for all the invites. This is one great site and I will be spending some time here.

This weather is giving me the urge to pack into the mountain across the street for a day or two. Hog and turkey are in and it's a year round trout stream.

I keep telling my wife that the Rocky Mountains are calling and that I'm going to make it there one day. She knows that once we visit, we'll be staying.

See ya down the trail,

Frank
