Welcome from SE Missouri, Scots in my blood. Surname is Spence.
Welcome from Frostbite Central…Hi all. I'm new here. Been shooting for about forty years but only got into muzzleloaders a few years back.
I run a Rogers and Spence - which I really enjoy. Acquired a Beretta ML Tricentennial OU shotgun back around the start of the plague. Havn't shot it yet, but hoping to do so in the next few weeks.
Anyhoo, glad to be here and looking forward to learning a lot!
Cheers
D
Why not nobody ever responded to my Cape Dutch musket enquiry, So I made one anyway . Well greatly advanced .I knew you'd front up here Ruddy !
Hi RichWelcome from Alberta Canada,
Can I ask where abouts in Scotland you are?
I'm from down in Yorkshire but traveled up north a fair bit.
Rich.
Hi Neighbour! Do I know you?Welcome from the Lothians.
In broad brush terms, pretty much the same as for any other firearm. Powder storage is covered under Health and Safety laws.Question for the OP, what are the Gun laws there in regard to Black Powder Muzzle loaders ?
If only I'd seen this before replying lolWelcome from East Anglia - doon there. Lots of muzzleloading in our club of around 500 members. This coming Saturday will be m/l's only!!
And for Mr Coinneach in post #8 - gun laws in Scotland [except for air guns] are ALL the same as they are for the rest of the UK, as far as muzzleloading firearms are concerned. They have been covered in great detail by me and others who live here many times over the years - do a search and I'm sure you'll find them.
