Its high carbon stee that shapens easily and it's also 100% handmade in Florida.Really nice blade, but not sure what it has to do with traditional muzzleloaders.

I do that so I can get a clean edge ground an also so I can see how thin im taking itWhat's the purpose of the half round cut just North of the finger well on the grip? Signature perhaps? Steve
