hooked breech question

I've heard that you should superglue the breech plug to the tang when inletting a Hawkin's style hooked breech. How do you get them apart after they're glued?

A little heat. Some also epoxy or solder them together for construction purposes.

Tap it with a hammer or mallet from underneath. The glue is not up to holding against the shock. All things in moderation -- we do not want to dent anything.
