Yeah... The way I was pulling to the right on the hang fires .... I don't think I could use a flintlock...I was really thinking about it up till then
Practice dry firing and holding on target. That will help you not only with the hang fire, but, also using a flintlock. You will get it down pat, just keep practicing that dry fire.

Tennessee..last year from the beginning of September to the 1st of January so basically all season...only 84 deer were taking...on 2800 acres

Oh do you have any to send me....??? .... If not I'll have to use what I have access to... Or I could start making my own but I bet that wouldn't be as good either... But I appreciate your input
He's right about Triple7, however, you have to use what yo have access to.
Once you get into muzzleloading more and more, there is info on making your own BP, and it will be as good or better than store bought. But, your new, and everything takes time, so you go one step at a time and just progress as you go. You're going to do just great.

I had similar issues with a sinmilar load...I went to a thicker patch and everything greatly improved in a hurry. Be sure your breech is dry before loading, and pop a cap or two before powder goes in.

3F Triple Seven is fine for what you are trying to do as opposed to 2F T7
Me using 3F T7 w/ paper cartridges and home made percussion caps with 2 dots from toy cap gun caps as the flash compound lights the 3F EVERY TIME and that’s powder encased in paper for Pete’s sake
To change from 2 to 3F T7 use same volume measure and reduce 3 to 5%
for same ballistics
Store at all times barrel down
Use a breach plug cleaner
If you are in fact using a Musket cap on a proper musket nipple and have enlarged the flame hole I urge you to wear eye protection until you replace the nipple but do replace the nipple please
If using CCI musket caps switch to RWS or Schutzen which are way hotter than CCI

Get red a red 3m scouring pad cut a 1inch strip off of it Then watch this youtubehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vZyRD-iutus from duelist44.
I purchased a replacement GPR barrel and after 1 shot it was very difficult to load even though I had cleaned it before shooting it. I can now get 7 shots before I have to clean with just damp patch and continue shooting.

It depends on need. The last 7 or so deer I shot have been neck shots. My friend asks why? Well with an ankle that grinds bone on bone I don't want to track or drag. Besides neck meat is hard to get out clean of fat.

Well, you can get powder sent to you. Grafs is a good source for lesser quantities of real black.
If you must use a sub, try Pyrodex. It has better ignition characteristics than t7 although still not as good as real bp.

Drilling your nipple out may improve ignition but it will make your rifle less accurate. Also, 90 grains of any powder is not likely to deliver good accuracy in your deer hunter. FWIW, the last deer that i killed with a deer hunter was a full grown mulie doe at 80 yards with 60 grains of 3f powder. Don't over estimate how much powder you need.

As previously stated, .10 patches are pretty thin. Check out your fired patches and see how they look.

Fired patches should look like this.

How will it make a rifle less accurate?.... That's the first that I've ever heard that... I would think a faster ignition time would make it more accurate... Not saying you're wrong or anything that would just be my thought...
