H&A Underhammer rifle for sale. Not sure if it’s a real H&A or a numrich kit/rifle. It’s a 32 inch 45cal with a heavy 15/16 target barrel with front globe sight. Bore was rusty when I got it and it cleaned up decently with some pitting remaining. The barrel is large enough for a good rebore by Mr Hoyt. The full cock notch needs work as it doesn’t hold well. It does have the half cock notch which some under hammers do not. The butt plate fit isn’t right and the buttplate is missing one screw. Please send me an offer via PM as I’m not sure what this rifle is actually worth. Pics include all markings that are on the barrel. Best offer + $25 shipping in the USA.

Treeman

If you wish to fix the stock issue just remove the butt plate. That will give you access to the bolt that holds the stock to the action. Loosen the bolt and turn the stock 180 degrees then tighten the bolt back up. Reinstall the butt plate. The patch box will be on the correct side.

Good luck.

Boy I tell ya a few of y’all sure know how to roast a member trying to honestly sell something. I wasn’t sure what to ask for this so I asked for a few offers. I got one and accepted it. Simple. If I’d have posted a ridiculously high price would the comments have been more brutal? That’s why I was afraid to post a price. Sheesh. If you don’t like something just move along. I’ve sold and bought many items on this forum with not a problem. I also never make negative comments on someone else’s for sale posts. Necchi just because you’re a long time member doesn’t give you privileges to be a jerk but yet here you are being a jerk. It’s easier just to be nice or move along.

So how much did it sell for?

Hey, I didn't get that anyone was brutal or made negative comments. Where did I miss that?

Truth is - rules are rules - ads gotta have a price. Just because You say you don't know what to ask doesn't automatically waive the rule. Yeah, you were up front about it - but to get upset because someone pointed out the violation puts it all back on you.

What I've seen - the handling for that very situation - is to post a thread in the correct forum asking for advice on what it's worth.
