Okay, I have paged through The Craftsman forum looking for someone talking about a source for decent horns and didn't find it. I researched the Internet, came up with a source for "scrimshaw quality" horns and after I went to them, they said their own source died and they were looking for another. Can anyone help me with a source that has good horns at a decent price?

:hmm:

The last ones I got were from a Tandy Leather store. Sold in sets. One was damaged, so had to buy the pair. They were large, so I could cut off the bad end and ended up getting 2 (scrim quality) for the price of one. Still haven't used the good one. The only thing was they are sandblasted inside to thin the wall. Someone here could comment if that creates weak spots, but they seemed fine.

If you want raw horns get in touch with Roland Cadle at [email protected]

or Lee Larkin at 724-627-6901

They will both most likely be at Ft. Frederick the end of April.
